Mark Acetelli Presents New Works from the “Clouds” Series in Curation of Time
A Group Exhibition Curated by D2 Art

LOS ANGELES, CA — May 2026 — Contemporary artist Mark Acetelli will present new works from his evolving Clouds series in Curation of Time, a group exhibition curated by D2 Art and hosted at Brodin Gallery.

Opening on May 28, 2026, from 7:00–10:00 PM, the exhibition brings together a diverse group of contemporary artists exploring process, materiality, abstraction, and personal expression through painting and mixed media practices.

“We shaped a space where contrast and cohesion coexist. It is an accumulation of process through color and its absence, through texture, gesture, and form. The exhibition captures what it means to grow, to collaborate, and to continuously search for new ways to express oneself.”

Within this framework, Acetelli’s new Clouds series expands his ongoing investigation into reduction, impermanence, and emotional resonance through minimalist form. Originally conceived as a technical and conceptual challenge, the works evolved into meditations on atmosphere, movement, and transformation.

“Clouds became more than atmosphere or landscape,” says Acetelli. “They began to feel like energy—constantly moving, dissolving, and reemerging. In many ways, they became a reflection of life itself.”

Known for reducing his compositions to their essential elements of line, color, and form, Acetelli creates restrained paintings that emphasize clarity, presence, and contemplative space. In Clouds, these concerns move toward a more atmospheric and intuitive direction, balancing simplicity with depth and openness to interpretation.
